Killingworth Padel Facilities

Ainsworth Spark Associates were appointed by HYPADEL to develop proposals for new padel facilities at Killingworth, supporting the growing demand for the sport and enhancing local leisure provision.

The scheme has been carefully designed to integrate high-quality padel courts within the existing site, alongside supporting facilities to create an accessible and welcoming destination for both new and experienced players. Consideration has been given to layout, circulation, lighting, and user experience to ensure the development is functional and efficient to operate.

Engagement with stakeholders and the local authority informed the design development, ensuring the proposals respond sensitively to their context while delivering a modern sporting facility. Sustainability and durability were also key considerations throughout the process.

Planning approval has now been secured, marking a key milestone in progressing the delivery of new padel facilities at Killingworth.
