Watch House Weathervane Restored

Local craftsman, Norman Morse, has returned the Watch House’s weathervane to its former glory. The now gold and gleaming ship was recently blown from its perch and damaged during a storm but has been skillfully restored and will return to its position atop the Watch House during Phase 2 of the renovation programme due to begin in Spring. Keep an eye out for the ship, made from copper and brass, as it slowly returns to a mottled green colour in the coming years.
