Kelburn House

Kelburn House, in the centre of Newcastle, was the original home of Sir Joseph Swan where he developed the electric lamp using a carbon filament. Built in 1870, the building is Grade II listed.

The façade was carefully retained and conserved and a new five-storey office complex built behind, with basement car parking.
