British Alcan Headquarters

Overview:

British Alcan based their headquarters at this significant Grade II Listed estate. The buildings and landscape have developed over many centuries, parts dating back to the 11th century, and include an orangery built by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Italianate gardens planted by Gertrude Jekyll. The project to turn this collection of historic elements into an international headquarters involved sensitive restoration and conservation as well as adjustments and adaptations.
