Overview:
Working alongside the Adderstone Group, the 19th Century Gateshead Railway Club was converted into twenty five new apartments of varying sizes, including the insertion of mezzanine levels in some apartments.
A new third floor was added within the original building envelope, and the original roof structure was replaced to create an additional fourth floor of accommodation.
The original building façade was completely restored, including the replacement of the original fenestrations with high quality timber sash windows. The original brickwork and stonework was conserved and a new Welsh slate roof installed.
