Worsdell House / Railway Club

Overview:

Working alongside the Adderstone Group, the 19th Century Gateshead Railway Club was converted into twenty five new apartments of varying sizes, including the insertion of mezzanine levels in some apartments.

A new third floor was added within the original building envelope, and the original roof structure was replaced to create an additional fourth floor of accommodation.

The original building fa├žade was completely restored, including the replacement of the original fenestrations with high quality timber sash windows. The original brickwork and stonework was conserved and a new Welsh slate roof installed.
