Overview:
Moorlands Hall in Gosforth, built in 1858, was previously part of a Northumbria University accommodation complex, but was in serious need of work when it was sold in 2006.
It has been almost entirely re-built, retaining what was left of the beautiful stone external envelope and, completed in the winter of 2011, is now five luxurious 2 and 3 bed apartments in landscaped grounds, the penthouse having access to a private roof terrace.
